Renault Kwid Facelift: India Launch on July 3

Renault Kwid Facelift: India Launch on July 3. Renault India has confirmed that the updated Kwid will debut on this date, bringing a fresh look and new features to the popular entry-level hatchback. The Renault Kwid Facelift is expected to retain the current mechanical setup while enhancing styling and safety.

The exterior of the Renault Kwid Facelift will likely draw inspiration from the Dacia Spring, Renault’s global electric hatchback. Spy images suggest new Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, updated tail lamps, and fresh alloy wheels. However, the main headlamp units are expected to remain halogen. Inside, the cabin could see significant upgrades, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a redesigned steering wheel, an updated instrument cluster, and revised interior trim.

The safety package is also set to improve, with the Renault Kwid Facelift expected to offer six airbags. The powertrain remains unchanged, with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 67 BHP, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The current model is priced between Rs. 4.30 lakh and Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the facelifted version is likely to carry a slight premium.

Overall, the Renault Kwid Facelift promises a refreshing update with modern design and enhanced safety, making it a compelling choice in its segment. The July 3 launch will reveal exact prices and features.
