Ramayana: Will audiences get 3D trailer in theatres? The buzz around this question has only grown after the media and celebrity preview of Ramayana at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi drew widespread praise. Attendees were captivated by the grand scale of the film, with Yash’s appearance as Ravana in the 3D trailer emerging as a major highlight.
Ramayana: Will audiences get 3D trailer in theatres across India? Industry reports suggest that a theatrical 3D rollout is under active consideration, even though the makers have not made an official announcement yet. This speculation gained momentum after the CBFC certified a dedicated 4-minute cut titled “Theatrical Trailer – Ramayana 3D,” which strongly points towards a big-screen release.
The trailer is set for its official digital release on July 24, 2026. However, if plans proceed, audiences could get the chance to watch Ramayana’s 3D trailer in select 3D and IMAX theatres before that date. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Ravie Dubey, and Kunal Kapoor.
Ramayana: Will audiences get 3D trailer in theatres remains the main question on everyone’s mind. While an official confirmation is still awaited, the strong indications from industry reports and CBFC certification make it likely. Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios with Monster Mind Creations, and VFX by Oscar-winning studio DNEG, Ramayana is touted as the first Indian film shot for IMAX. The first installment is scheduled for a theatrical release this Diwali, making the trailer’s potential big-screen debut an exciting prospect for fans.
