The controversy surrounding Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s farmhouse near Hyderabad has finally been put to rest with an official clarification from Hydra Commissioner Ranganath. Addressing the viral allegations that Kalyan captured a pond, Ranganath provided a detailed explanation of the facts.
According to the commissioner, Pawan Kalyan purchased about ten acres of land in 2014. During a re-marking of revenue records in 2016-17, it was found that six to seven acres of the pond in that land fell within the Full Tank Level (FTL) scope. The remaining three acres were outside the FTL. Ranganath stated that such pond lands with fences are common across many areas in the state, dismissing any wrongdoing.
Ranganath clarified that Pawan Kalyan did not make any constructions to stop water flow or damage the pond. The only issue was a boundary fencing, which is permissible for farming. However, the commissioner noted that other nearby farmers had violated rules through soil excavations and unauthorized constructions. He emphasized that full-scale constructions are prohibited, but farming activities are not a problem.
The commissioner expressed anger over the deliberate misinformation, stating, “It is completely wrong that Pawan is occupying the pond. This is just a deliberate misinformation.” He opined that the entire issue was driven by a specific agenda on social media, and even Telangana Raksha Sena leader Kavitha was misled by the false propaganda. With this official Hydra clarification, all allegations against Pawan Kalyan have been effectively debunked, highlighting the importance of verifying facts before spreading rumors.
