Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Bookings Open for Facelift ahead of its official debut on July 24. Customers can reserve the updated compact SUV by paying a token amount of Rs. 11,000 through Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships or the company’s official website. This is the first major update for the Brezza since its second-generation model was launched in 2022. The facelift is expected to bring cosmetic revisions, additional features, and a new turbo-petrol engine option.
One of the most significant changes anticipated in the Maruti Suzuki Brezza is the introduction of the 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, currently available in the Fronx. This three-cylinder engine produces 100 HP and 148 Nm of torque, likely paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and CNG variants are expected to continue. If introduced, this engine could help the Brezza qualify for a lower GST slab, improving its price competitiveness.
Design updates for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift are expected to be evolutionary. They may include revised front and rear bumpers, updated lighting elements, and new alloy wheel designs. Spy images suggest refreshed interior trim and a revised cabin color scheme. Features likely to be expanded include a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, front parking sensors, and Level 2 ADAS.
Maruti Suzuki has not announced prices yet, but the updated Brezza is expected to be slightly higher than the current model, which ranges from Rs. 8.26 lakhs to Rs. 12.86 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will continue to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, and Skoda Kylaq. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift promises a more modern and feature-rich driving experience.
