2026 Maruti Fronx Facelift: ADAS & Hybrid Launch Plans

2026 Maruti Fronx Facelift: ADAS & Hybrid Launch Plans are creating significant buzz in the Indian automotive market. Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce the updated Fronx compact crossover, expected by the end of 2026. While the Brezza facelift has already arrived, the Fronx facelift will follow, bringing notable upgrades. Spy images reveal subtle design changes, including a new front grille, tweaked bumper, and a silver skid plate, though the headlamp and fog lamp assemblies remain unchanged.

The key highlight of the 2026 Maruti Fronx Facelift is the addition of a Level 2 ADAS suite. A test mule was spotted with calibration equipment and a LIDAR unit in the rear bumper. This system will include features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and high beam assist. Inside, the MY2026 Fronx may offer new seat upholstery, a sunroof, and ventilated front seats, while retaining existing features such as Suzuki Connect, a 360-degree camera, HUD, cruise control, and wireless charging.

Under the hood, the 2026 Maruti Fronx Facelift will continue with the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo petrol engines, paired with manual and automatic gearboxes. Looking ahead, Maruti is developing an in-house strong hybrid powertrain for the Fronx, expected in 2027. This series hybrid system promises up to 35 kmpl fuel efficiency, surpassing Toyota’s Atkinson technology in both economy and cost.

In conclusion, the 2026 Maruti Fronx Facelift with ADAS marks a significant safety upgrade, while the planned hybrid variant by 2027 underscores Maruti’s commitment to fuel-efficient technology. This model is set to strengthen the compact crossover segment with advanced features and eco-friendly options.
