Mahindra Scorpio: 5 Key Facelift Details Revealed

Mahindra Scorpio N facelift: the big daddy of SUVs is getting a major midlife update in India. The updated model, which has been on test for a long time, is expected to debut on August 15, 2026. Mahindra & Mahindra has planned a three-day event in Mumbai from 14th to 16th August, which could mark the launch of the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift along with the upcoming Vision S and BE 07 concepts.

Spy images suggest the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift will retain its signature upright stance and muscular proportions. The SUV features newly-designed alloy wheels, revised headlamps and taillamps with new LED elements, redesigned bumpers, and a larger front grille. New color options are likely, but dimensions remain unchanged at 4,662mm length, 1,917mm width, and 1,857mm height with a 2,750mm wheelbase.

Inside, the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to gain a larger 10.2-inch free-standing infotainment system similar to the Thar Roxx, supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The test mule also revealed new silver elements around the center AC vents. Other updates include new seat upholstery, trims, and a panoramic sunroof. Powertrain options continue unchanged with the 2.0L turbo petrol producing 203bhp and 2.2L diesel in two tunes: 132bhp/300Nm and 175bhp with 370Nm (MT) or 400Nm (AT).

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift promises fresh styling and technology upgrades while retaining its robust character. With its launch anticipated around Independence Day 2026, it is set to strengthen its position as a dominant SUV in the Indian market.
