2 new Mahindra SUVs coming in 2027: rugged styling & AWD. Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to launch two new SUVs in 2027, built on the modular NU_IQ platform. These vehicles promise tough designs and versatile drivetrains. The Vision S sub-4 meter SUV and the Vision SXT pickup truck aim to boost Mahindra’s lineup with advanced technology and all-wheel drive capability. Reports suggest the Vision S will debut in late 2026, with a market launch in early 2027, while the SXT pickup may enter production later that year.

The NU_IQ monocoque platform is the foundation for these upcoming models. It supports multiple powertrains, including internal combustion, electric, and hybrid options. The 2 new Mahindra SUVs coming in 2027 will also feature all-wheel drive, variable-ratio steering, a 5-link rear suspension with active dampers, and the new NU_UX user interface. This flexibility allows Mahindra to offer diverse choices to buyers, from fuel-efficient hybrids to powerful ICE versions, while maintaining rugged off-road capabilities.

The Mahindra Vision S concept previews a boxy, upright SUV with circular LED headlamps, a high roofline, and flush door handles. The production version will likely remove roof-mounted lights and limb risers for a more practical design. Spy shots show lower trims may have an analog instrument cluster, manual AC dials, and split-folding rear seats. The leaked patent of the Mahindra Vision SXT reveals an aggressive front grille, skid plate, split headlamps with Y-shaped DRLs, and a tubular bar. The interior is expected to include a large touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and panoramic sunroof.

These 2 new Mahindra SUVs represent a major step for Mahindra into modern, multi-powertrain vehicles. With the rugged Vision S ideal for city and off-road use, and the versatile Vision SXT pickup for work and adventure, they expand the brand’s appeal. The production-ready versions will maintain core design elements while adding comfort and advanced features, making them strong contenders in the SUV and pickup segments by early 2027.
