The next-generation Hyundai Creta is undergoing testing in India, with a likely global debut at the 2026 Bharat Mobility Show in February, followed by a quick market launch. The new Hyundai Creta will get a radical design overhaul, a more premium interior, and a strong hybrid powertrain. It will also sit on Hyundai’s new K3 platform, shared with the Kia Seltos, bringing a bigger cabin and improved safety.
Spy shots confirm the new Hyundai Creta will be longer and wider, giving more interior space. Design cues come from the Hyundai Crater concept shown at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show. Expect a flatter roofline, a squared-off rear, vertically stacked LED taillamps connected by a full-width light bar, larger alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, the Hyundai Creta will feature the Pleos Connect system with a larger touchscreen, a slim driver’s display with Gleo AI, updated seat upholstery, adjustable rear headrests, and an upgraded ADAS suite.
Under the hood, a new 1.5-liter petrol hybrid is likely for the Hyundai Creta. A rumored 1.2L turbo petrol engine, supporting hybrid tech, could debut in the Hyundai Bayon SUV in late 2026. The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines, along with their transmissions, are expected to continue.
