DGP’s Eagle Force: New drug crackdown unit in Manuguru. DGP CV Anand announced a new strategy with the Eagle Force Division for Drugs Prevention in Manuguru. Inaugurating the new building of Manuguru Police Station on Monday, he said this special unit has been set up to prevent drug trafficking. He clarified that after eradicating Naxalism, serious focus has been placed on drugs prevention.

Anand said the Eagle Force section, from Home Guard to DGP, is working as a strong system to prevent drug transportation. He explained that an operation against drugs destroying society has been prepared and is being implemented with full force. His department is constantly working to provide transparent services to the people.

Staff have been instructed to treat victims who come to the police station with courtesy and ensure no difficulty in receiving complaints. The Manuguru station, previously stuck due to lack of funds, was opened with the initiative of SP Rohit Raju, support from Singareni, and cooperation from the people. Mahabubabad MP Porika Balaram Naik, MLA Payam Venkateshwarlu, IG Chandrasekhar, Collector Ankit, SP Rohit Raju, ITDA PO B.Rahul, Sub Collector Mrinal Shrestha, DSP Ravinder Reddy, CI Nagababu, and SSIL officials participated in the program.

Officials believe that the DGP’s Eagle Force effort is crucial for drugs prevention in the region. This new crackdown unit represents a significant step in the state’s ongoing battle against drug trafficking.
