BMW Group India Record H1 2026 Sales Surge 17%: The company achieved its best-ever first-half performance by delivering 9,075 cars and SUVs between January and June 2026. This includes 504 units from the Mini brand, resulting in a 17 percent year-on-year growth. The second quarter also saw sales of 4,507 units, matching the same growth rate. Despite challenging market conditions, the strong emphasis on electric vehicles drove these results.

Electric vehicle adoption rose sharply, with BMW Group India selling 2,359 EVs across BMW and Mini brands. This represents a 78 percent increase over the same period last year, with EVs now comprising 26 percent of total passenger vehicle sales. Long-wheelbase models remained in high demand, with BMW selling 4,428 units in the first half, a 24 percent increase year-on-year. These models contributed 52 percent of the company’s overall sales. The Mini brand also grew substantially, selling 504 units, a 70 percent increase compared to last year.

Looking ahead, BMW Group India plans to introduce 14 new products in the second half of 2026 across BMW, Mini, and BMW Motorrad brands, including new models and updated variants. This strong performance, combined with upcoming launches, positions the company for continued success.
