Amid speculation about a possible theatre shutdown in the Telugu states, reports surfaced that top Tollywood producers were advising exhibitors to halt screenings—allegedly to target Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. This sparked outrage among fans and fueled social media debates.

Responding swiftly, veteran producer Dil Raju held a press conference today to set the record straight. Dismissing the rumors, he said, “Many are dragging my name into this without any basis. I have never supported or initiated a theatre shutdown in my 30-year career.”

He stressed that the entire situation had been blown out of proportion by the media, and urged people to verify facts before spreading misinformation.

Dil Raju also made a strong statement in support of Pawan Kalyan, declaring, “No one has the courage to stop Pawan Kalyan garu’s film from releasing.”

His clarification aims to put an end to the unfounded speculation and restore focus on the film’s highly anticipated release.
