MINI Cooper Oxford Edition: 25 Years of Heritage celebrates a major milestone for the brand. MINI has introduced this special edition model to honor 25 years of modern MINI production at its Oxford plant in the United Kingdom. The limited-run vehicle features unique design elements inspired by the Union Jack, paying tribute to the brand’s British roots. The Oxford facility has been central to MINI’s story since 1959, and the BMW Group has produced the modern MINI there since 2001.
The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition stands out with a white contrast roof that incorporates a contemporary Union Jack design. A red and white center stripe runs the length of the car, giving it a distinctive look. Available in Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue, and Blazing Blue exterior finishes, the edition also includes white mirror caps and 18-inch Slide Spoke dual-tone alloy wheels with exclusive detailing.
Inside, the British theme continues with a textured Union Jack motif on the steering wheel and a circular Union Jack graphic on the driver’s floor mat. The passenger-side floor mat features a checkered flag design inspired by MINI’s motorsport heritage. Unique door sill plates further set this edition apart. The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition will be offered in both Cooper C and Cooper S variants, with no mechanical changes from standard models.
MINI has also launched an Oxford Capsule lifestyle collection alongside the vehicle. This range includes a travel bag, T-shirts, a cap, stickers, and an umbrella, all incorporating design cues from the Union Jack theme. Importantly, MINI confirmed this is a new global special edition, unrelated to the long-standing US-market Oxford Edition with the same name. This edition marks a fitting tribute to 25 years of production excellence.
