The model year update brings a simplified lineup with just two trims: Evolution and Climber, available in both manual and AMT gearbox options.
The Evolution manual is priced at Rs 4.53 lakh, while its AMT counterpart costs Rs 4.90 lakh. The sporty Climber manual variant is priced at Rs 5.15 lakh, and the Climber AMT comes at Rs 5.61 lakh, all ex-showroom. A retrofitted CNG kit costs an additional Rs 70,450 and includes a standard warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km. The New 2026 Renault Kwid competes directly with the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and S-Presso.
Externally, the New 2026 Renault Kwid gets subtle design updates, including new 3D Renault badges, 14-inch steel wheels with redesigned covers, and fresh Kwid lettering on the tailgate. Inside, it features a new three-spoke steering wheel inspired by the Kiger, along with an 8-inch touchscreen, semi-digital instrument cluster, wired smartphone connectivity, and manual AC. Safety features include six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking camera with sensors, hill start assist, ABS with EBD, and keyless entry.
The New 2026 Renault Kwid retains its 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 69bhp and 92.5Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT.
