UAE investments: Chandrababu opens new doors for AP farmers. The agreement signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos has now come into effect, creating a major boost for Andhra Pradesh’s food processing sector. This partnership with UAE investments opens up new export pathways for horticulture products from the state.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and UAE Finance Minister Abdullah Bin Tauq Al Marri signed the agreement in collaboration with the Dubai Food Cluster. Under this deal, UAE investments will enable large-scale exports of horticulture crops to international markets. The pact also aims to attract foreign trade and investment from the UAE into Andhra Pradesh.

As a direct result of UAE investments, food processing units will be set up for mango, banana, and cocoa, which are grown abundantly in the state. These units will manufacture and export value-added products. Within just six months of Davos, the UAE has moved forward with its investment commitments. Floor AP Masters International is ready to invest Rs. 100 crores in a food processing unit in Chittoor district. Additionally, Gangadhara will establish a unit in Nellore to produce world-class export goods.

The Chief Minister noted that 30% of the state’s gross income comes from agriculture and horticulture. With over 200 horticulture clusters, Andhra Pradesh exports crops like chilli, palm oil, cocoa, and coffee. Chandrababu expressed confidence that this agreement will give a significant boost to the AP food processing sector, creating new opportunities for farmers and strengthening the state’s economy through strategic UAE investments.
