Sonakshi Sinha Unveils Artwork: Gayatri Mantra Meets Kalma at Home: Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha recently shared a deeply personal addition to her home with husband Zaheer Iqbal. The featured artwork beautifully combines the Gayatri Mantra and the Kalma, symbolizing harmony, love, and mutual respect between their different faiths. Sonakshi revealed the piece in a July 3 Instagram post, explaining its emotional significance.
The actor recalled a poignant moment from their wedding. She shared, “When we got married, while the Pandit was chanting the Gayatri Mantra, the sound of the Azaan floated up into our home, and the power of both those prayers have made our home the happy home it is today!” This memory inspired a friend, Shubhika Sharma, to gift them a unique wedding present.
Shubhika Sharma introduced the couple to artist Aadila Bedi. Sonakshi described how the artist understood their emotions and translated them onto canvas. “The extremely talented @aadilabedi, who came home and understood our thoughts and feelings only to put it out on the canvas so beautifully,” she noted. The painting, where Gayatri Mantra meets Kalma, was a surprise that deeply moved the couple.
Sonakshi concluded by expressing how the artwork has completed their home. She said the piece, blending the Gayatri Mantra and the Kalma, “travelled back with me and has found its place in our home.” The couple, married in June 2024, continues to embrace each other’s beliefs with love and respect.
