Ravi Mohan: Apologizes, returns to cinema after a difficult personal phase that led him to announce a break from films earlier this year. The popular Tamil actor, now set to resume his acting career, publicly addressed his decision and apologized to those affected. Speaking at the JFW Achievers Awards, Ravi Mohan shared his emotional journey and the support that prompted his return.
Ravi Mohan revealed that he is turning 46 this year and reflected on his long career. “23 divided by 2, half of my life has been spent in cinema. It’s a pity that a small mistake of mine has hurt you all so much,” he said. He explained that while his personal and professional lives are equally important, his emotions in personal life became overwhelming. This led to his announcement in May, when he held a press conference at his home and broke down while declaring a break from films to sort out his personal matters. Since then, Ravi Mohan has worked through a difficult phase that included his separation from his wife, Aarti Ravi, and later from his girlfriend, Keneeshaa Francis.
However, Ravi Mohan’s decision to return to cinema came after receiving immense support from the film industry. At the awards event, he stated, “Everyone in the industry came up to me and said, we’ll accept anything you say. But you must never say you’re not part of cinema again.” He apologized to them and committed to not betraying his fans. Ravi Mohan concluded, “I bow my head in gratitude,” signaling his determination to continue his acting career. With his apology and renewed commitment, Ravi Mohan is ready to move forward in cinema.
