Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar (aka Annagaru Vostaru), which was set to launch alongside Akhanda 2 on December 12, was postponed at the last minute as a consequence of monetary points. This sudden announcement got here as an enormous shock to followers and film buffs.
As per a report in Pink Villa, the delay has put the film’s OTT deal in jeopardy. Amazon Prime Video holds the post-theatrical streaming rights to Vaa Vaathiyaar, and as per the report if the launch is pushed past this month, the platform might again out, leaving the OTT deal in limbo.
The newest buzz suggests the makers are eyeing a Christmas 2025 launch, although an official announcement is awaited. Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, the film stars Krithi Shetty and is produced by Studio Inexperienced. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer.
