MG Hector Hawk: New 7-Seater SUVs By Diwali 2026

MG Hector Hawk: New 7-Seater SUVs By Diwali 2026 is a key topic in the Indian automotive market. With the growing demand for family-friendly vehicles, major carmakers including Tata, Mahindra, Kia, and JSW MG Motor India are preparing to launch new seven-seater models before the Diwali season in 2026.

JSW MG Motor India plans to introduce an all-new electric SUV in August 2026, likely called the MG Hector Hawk. It will debut the brand’s ADAPT platform, designed for multiple powertrains. Based on the Wuling Eksion from Indonesia, it is expected to feature a 69kWh battery pack with a 210bhp electric motor, and a plug-in hybrid version may follow. Both versions should reach showrooms near Diwali.

Mahindra is expected to unveil the Scorpio N facelift on August 15, 2026. While changes will be minimal, the SUV may get a revised front grille, updated bumpers, redesigned headlamps and fog lamps, and new alloy wheels. It will likely retain the same 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engines.

Tata’s Safari EV is set to rival the Mahindra XEV 9S. It may share powertrain options with the Harrier EV, including 65kWh RWD, 75kWh RWD, and 75kWh AWD variants, offering a claimed range over 500km. It will feature a sealed grille, EV badging, and the TiDAL software suite with OTA updates and Level 2 ADAS.

Kia will launch its first hybrid in India, the Sorento, by October 2026. It will come with a diesel and a 1.6L turbo petrol hybrid powertrain, similar to the global model. With these new offerings, families will have more choices by Diwali 2026, making it an exciting time for seven-seater SUV buyers.
