Meta is expanding its enterprise AI ambitions with a new business platform aimed at companies and developers. The company has appointed Chirantan CJ Desai, formerly the CEO of MongoDB, as Chief Enterprise Platform Officer to lead the initiative.
Meta says its enterprise offering will focus on AI models, agents and coding tools that businesses can use in their workflows. The move places Meta more directly into a market where Microsoft, Google and other AI companies already provide enterprise products.
The company has also introduced products including Muse, Business Agent and Muse Code as part of its broader enterprise push. Desai brings experience from MongoDB, ServiceNow and Cloudflare as Meta builds out the new division.
