Mahindra BE.07: Game-Changing Electric SUV Rival Unleashed. This upcoming electric SUV from Mahindra & Mahindra is set to launch in 2027 and will be the fourth born-electric model under the brand’s BE sub-brand. Based on the BE.07 concept showcased in August 2022, this SUV is currently in testing and will rival the Tata Harrier EV and Vinfast VF7.
The design of the Mahindra BE.07 stays true to its futuristic concept, with angular body lines, a closed-off grille, and C-shaped LED DRLs that give it a mini Range Rover look. Spy shots reveal a sporty front bumper with air vents, LED fog lamps, a front camera, and multiple parking sensors. It also includes hardware for Level 2 ADAS, flush-type door handles, large alloy wheels, and vertically positioned LED taillamps.
Inside, the Mahindra BE.07 will share a triple screen setup with the XEV 9e and 9S. Features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, a 540-degree camera, a Head-Up Display, and a large panoramic sunroof. These premium features position it as a strong contender in the electric SUV segment.
The powertrain details for the Mahindra BE.07 are not yet revealed, but it may borrow 59kWh, 70kWh, and 79kWh battery packs from the XEV 9S. Dimensions are expected to be 4,565mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,660mm in height, with a 2,775mm wheelbase. The Mahindra BE.07 promises to be a game-changer, offering cutting-edge design and advanced features to take on its rivals.
