Mahendragiri Varahi: Mythological thriller 21 starring Sumanth will release in theatres on September 11, 2026. The official announcement was made during a press meet held on Monday. Directed by Santhossh Jagarlapudi, Mahendragiri Varahi marks his reunion with Sumanth after their previous collaboration in Subrahmanyapuram.
The release date of Mahendragiri Varahi was unveiled following a unique promotional campaign. During the Varahi Gupta Navratri festival, the makers installed Goddess Varahi idols in nearly 100 theatres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This creative effort helped build anticipation for the film, which is now in its final post-production stages.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Goswami, and Malavika Nair in key roles. Vennela Kishore, Rajeev Kanakala, Brahmanandam, and Kamal Kamaraju also play important parts. The music for Mahendragiri Varahi has been composed by Anup Rubens, adding to the mythological thriller’s appeal.
Produced by Madhu Kalipu and Laxman under the banners Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films, Mahendragiri Varahi promises to be an engaging cinematic experience. With its intriguing storyline and talented team, the film is set to captivate audiences upon its release next year.
