Lamborghini Urus SE Performante: 801 BHP Hybrid SUV Unveiled. The latest model from Lamborghini, the Urus SE Performante, is the most powerful and fastest version of its plug-in hybrid luxury SUV ever made. It combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor to produce 801 BHP and 1000 Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox, allowing the SUV to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 312 km/h.
The Urus SE Performante is built for performance, with a focus on reducing weight. It weighs 2473 kg, which is 32 kg lighter than the standard Urus SE. This reduction comes from using carbon-fiber parts like the bonnet, roof, and wheel arches, plus a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic that saves over 10 kg. Aerodynamics have been improved to cut drag by 3 percent and increase downforce by 23 percent, while brake cooling efficiency is up by 8 percent.
Inside, the Urus SE Performante offers a driver-centric cabin with CorsaTex microfiber upholstery and carbon-fiber trim. It features two 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, drawing inspiration from the Revuelto. A new Aura dual-chamber air suspension reduces body roll by 55 percent and lowers cabin vibrations by 25 percent compared to the previous Urus Performante. A wider track and upgraded brakes improve stopping power by 12 percent from 200 km/h.
The hybrid system includes a 25.9 kWh battery, giving an electric-only range of over 60 km. New driving modes include Rally, for gravel surfaces, alongside Strada, Sport, Corsa, and EV modes. In summary, the Urus SE Performante pushes the limits of performance in a plug-in hybrid SUV, offering thrilling speed and track-ready features without sacrificing everyday usability.
