Rao stated that as the waters of Kaleswaram reached Siddipet, grain production increased significantly, filling godowns and causing a shortage of lorries for transport. Speaking at a free eye clinic organized by the Lorry Owners and Drivers Association in Siddipet, Rao highlighted the rising costs under Congress rule. He noted that radium stickers, previously costing under 1,000 rupees, now range from 6,000 to 7,000 rupees. Rao announced that he would provide eyeglasses and necessary eye operations at his personal expense for camp participants, as well as personal insurance.
Rao expressed confidence that the BRS government will return to power soon and assured efforts to secure a dedicated parking space for lorries in Siddipet. He emphasized that the Kaleswaram waters have transformed farmers’ lives, but Congress prioritizes commissions over development.
