Fauji: Prabhas’ Dec 3 Release Date Fixed?

Fauji: Prabhas Dec 3 Release Date Fixed? The buzz around the upcoming period war drama is intensifying, with strong indications that Fauji may hit theaters on December 3, 2024. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, known for his classic Sitaram, this film features Prabhas in a pre-independence setting. Despite earlier talks of postponement to October or November due to shooting and post-production work, current reports suggest the team is now targeting the December 3 date.

Fauji carries massive expectations following Prabhas’s back-to-back blockbusters like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. Fans are optimistic, recalling how previous December releases such as Pushpa and Akhanda turned into huge hits. The film is reportedly made on a budget of around Rs. 600 crores, which includes Prabhas’s fees and promotions. Set designer Krishna Maya alone has allocated Rs. 200 crores for ten grand sets, underscoring the scale of this production.

The business numbers for Fauji are equally impressive. Netflix has acquired the South Indian language OTT rights for Rs. 180 crores, while AA Films holds the Hindi theatrical rights for Rs. 63 crores. The Hindi OTT rights deal remains unconfirmed. If Fauji’s December 3 release is officially announced, it could significantly alter the industry’s release calendar.

An official statement from the film crew is expected soon. As the pre-independence war drama promises to deliver a visually stunning and emotionally rich narrative, audiences are eagerly awaiting confirmation of the Fauji release date. With December 3 looking increasingly likely, the film is poised to recreate the success of past festive blockbusters.
