The much-awaited sequel Awarapan 2 has completed its censor formalities ahead of release. The film was certified UA and has a runtime of 2 hours, 20 minutes.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 14, 2026, coinciding with the Independence Day holiday weekend. This gives the movie a strong release window and the opportunity to attract a large audience.
The original Awarapan remains one of Emraan Hashmi’s most loved films and has gained cult status over the years. Naturally, expectations are quite high for the sequel, which has Disha Patani as the female lead.
