The construction of Bhogapuram International Airport has been completed, and GMR, the developer, has already conducted successful trial runs. While the opening ceremony was delayed, the government has decided to have Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurate the facility. As this is a joint project between alliance parties, leaders believe Modi’s involvement is fitting. However, the Prime Minister’s schedule is yet to be finalized, with ministers suggesting the airport could be opened by the end of next month.
With Parliament sessions starting on the 20th and Independence Day on August 15th, the government aims to make Bhogapuram International Airport accessible to the public by the end of August.
