Arya: Criminal Case Over Rs 1.80 Cr Dues

Arya: Criminal Case Over Rs 1.80 Cr Dues filed against the Tamil actor by a Hyderabad-based equipment company has escalated into a legal battle. The Jubilee Hills police in Hyderabad registered the criminal case following a complaint from Taher Cine Technic, which alleges non-payment for services provided during the filming of the movie Ananthan Kadu.

The financial dispute has placed actor Arya and his production team under investigation. The complaint states that high-end digital cameras and specialized lighting equipment were rented for the shoot, with the gear shipped to Kerala at the vendor’s expense. Despite the production wrapping up, an outstanding balance of Rs. 1.80 crore remains unpaid, prompting legal action.

According to the vendor, attempts to recover the dues were met with hostility. The complainant claims that Arya, along with producer Vinod and an assistant named Kishore, allegedly intimidated them when asked to settle the payment. This led to the police charging the trio with cheating and criminal intimidation. The investigation is currently underway to verify these claims.

In conclusion, the criminal case against Arya over the Rs. 1.80 crore dues highlights a serious financial dispute in the film industry. As the probe continues, all parties await further developments to resolve this matter legally.
