Apple launches: Two October Events Rumoured

Apple Launches October HomePad Macs

Apple is reportedly planning two separate product launches this October. None of the dates or products has been confirmed by the company, so everything below is rumour.

The first is tipped for October 13 and centres on smart-home hardware. Reports suggest Apple may show a HomePad, a hub with a built-in screen, along with an updated HomePod mini with Siri improvements and a new Apple TV with Apple Intelligence support. No pricing is known.

The second launch is expected in late October and is likely to focus on Macs and iPad. Candidates include a premium touchscreen MacBook with an OLED display and a Dynamic Island cutout that could cost over 3,000 dollars, a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip and an M6 iMac. An OLED iPad mini with an A20 Pro chip and a waterproof body is also rumoured, reportedly starting at 699 dollars.

There are caveats. The MacBook could slip to November or early 2027 because of a global memory chip shortage, and Apple may announce the Macs through a press release instead of an event.

Indian buyers should treat these reports as early signals. Pricing and availability in India usually follow the global announcement.
