Amaravati Library: India’s biggest knowledge hub with Rs.150 Cr is set to transform the educational landscape of Andhra Pradesh. The state government is preparing to build this monumental facility at Amaravati, which will serve as India’s largest knowledge hub. Spanning 19.60 acres, the library will be developed at a cost of Rs.150 crores, featuring modern amenities to support students, researchers, and the general public.

The Amaravati Library project will also include a Telugu Cultural Center and a Human Resource Development Institute, making it a complete educational and cultural hub. Funding for this ambitious initiative will come through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with Dubai-based Shobha Group committing Rs 100 crore. The remaining Rs 50 crore will be raised from other corporate partners and private donors, enhancing the prominence of the state capital.

Designed as a G+5 building, the Amaravati Library can store over 10 lakh books and seat 2,500 readers at a time. It will offer modern reading halls and digital infrastructure to benefit students and researchers. The architecture is inspired by the historic Amaravati Buddhist Stupa, with 108 pillars, while the interior design draws from the Undavalli Caves, creating a unique landmark attraction.

The government plans to speed up construction by laying the foundation stone soon. In essence, India’s largest knowledge hub at Amaravati will seamlessly integrate education, research, and culture, strengthening the city’s identity as the state capital through its blend of traditional architecture and modern amenities.
