Honda ZR-V: Hybrid SUV at Rs 48 Lakh with 22.8 kmpl Mileage: Honda has officially launched its flagship hybrid SUV, the ZR-V, in India. Imported as a completely built-up unit, it is offered in a single, fully-loaded variant priced at Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks Honda’s first hybrid SUV entry in the country, positioning it against rivals like the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line.
The powertrain is a strong hybrid system featuring a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors. This setup delivers a combined output of 184bhp and 315Nm of torque, mated to an e-CVT gearbox. The Honda ZR-V accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.9 seconds, reaches a top speed of 172 kmph, and offers an impressive claimed fuel efficiency of 22.8 kmpl.
Measuring 4,567mm in length, 1,840mm in width, and 1,621mm in height, the Honda ZR-V rides on a 2,655mm wheelbase and offers up to 1,313 litres of cargo space with the rear seats folded. Exterior colour options include Platinum White Pearl, Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Crystal Black Pearl. The design is sporty, featuring a wide grille, slim LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Inside, the SUV is packed with premium features like a 9-inch touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, eight airbags, and Level 2 ADAS.
