E20 petrol: Vijaykrishna Naresh slams mileage and high costs

E20 petrol: Vijaykrishna Naresh slams mileage and high costs. The senior Tollywood actor has criticized the central government’s push for E20 petrol, claiming it reduces vehicle mileage and creates financial strain. In a viral social media post, Naresh shared his personal experience with E20 petrol, highlighting problems for high-end cars and ordinary vehicles alike.

Naresh stated that his Rs 2 crore Porsche car developed engine issues due to E20 petrol. He emphasized that this ethanol blend is causing a “heart attack” to both bikes and luxury cars. A friend, who is a BJP supporter, spent Rs 3.5 lakh on repairing damaged Toyota car valves caused by E20 petrol. Naresh warned that replacing Porsche valves could cost up to Rs 12 lakh. He now uses high-octane petrol at Rs 165 per liter to avoid further damage.

The actor criticized the government’s decision as hasty, saying that while E20 petrol is environmentally beneficial, it troubles the middle class and ordinary bike users the most. Naresh, a former BJP leader, urged the government to consider alternative methods. He noted that crores of people are suffering due to this problem, with many users already sharing similar experiences online.

In conclusion, Vijaykrishna Naresh’s remarks have sparked a debate on E20 petrol’s practical impact. His call for a balanced approach highlights the need to address both environmental goals and public convenience.
