Sreekar Prasad takes a dig at critics for not understanding film editing

Nationwide Award–successful editor Sreekar Prasad made a daring assertion throughout his Masterclass–Editing Workshop, calling out the shortage of understanding amongst many film critics.

Talking at the IFFI in Goa he stated, “In all probability half the critics don’t even know find out how to choose good and unhealthy editing. Each time a film doesn’t do properly, the very first thing they are saying is that the editing may have trimmed 20 minutes.”

Prasad added that editing is likely one of the most misunderstood crafts in filmmaking, and lowering criticism to easily slicing the film quick displays a weak grasp of the artwork type. His remarks have sparked discussions on-line.
