Pranav Mohanlal’s newest horror thriller, Dies Irae, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, hit the massive screens yesterday and opened to optimistic opinions from critics. For the uninitiated, Rahul Sadasivan beforehand directed extremely acclaimed horror movies Bhoothakalam and Bramayugam.
Dies Irae has now created a sensation by rising as the biggest A-rated Malayalam opener, surpassing Marco. The film collected shut to Rs. 12 crores gross worldwide as per commerce experiences, together with paid premieres, which is a superb quantity for a small-budget movie. Since the experiences are encouraging, Dies Irae is anticipated to have a stable weekend at the field workplace.
The film was produced by Chakravarthy Rama Chandra and S. Sashikanth beneath the banners of Evening Shift Studios and YNOT Studios. Sushmita Bhat, Gibin Gopinath, Jaya Kurup, and Arun Ajikumar performed key roles. Christo Xavier composed the tunes.
