Rashmika Mandanna’s Hindi horror comedy Thamma is working efficiently in theatres. In the meantime, the actress’s Telugu romantic drama The Girl Friend is gearing as much as hit the large screens on November 7. The movie is directed by Nationwide Award-winning filmmaker Rahul Ravindran.
Whereas the makers are set to drop the theatrical trailer tomorrow, we’ve got learnt that the movie’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix for a fancy price of Rs. 14 crores. Rashmika’s stardom and the director’s goodwill among the many audiences helped the film fetch a stable OTT deal.
The Girl Friend options Dheekshith Shetty of Dia and Dasara fame because the male protagonist. Rao Ramesh and Rohini play outstanding characters, whereas Anu Emmanuel seems in a particular function.
The movie is being produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni below the banner of Dheeraj Mogilineni Leisure. Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts is the presenter, whereas Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music composer.
