The highly anticipated movie OG is just a day away from its premiere, but the film’s production team is facing last-minute challenges with overseas content delivery. Sources reveal that delays in preparing and sending the full film have exposed poor planning within the production houses, a recurring issue in big-budget Telugu films.
Currently, the first half of OG has been mastered, uploaded to the Qube server, and shared with distributors. However, the final reels are still pending and may take an additional five to six hours to complete. This delay means that full delivery to overseas distributors may only be achieved later tonight, putting additional pressure on all parties involved.
Industry insiders warn that these last-minute operations not only create panic but could also impact the business of distributors and production houses. Experts advise that production teams should take this issue seriously, as repeated delays in major films can affect cooperation with international distributors in the long term.
Despite these challenges, distributors are exploring all possible solutions, including in-person delivery, same-day shipments, and alternative methods to minimize losses. If the final content is delivered smoothly, a seamless overseas release can still be expected. Producers of OG are hopeful that lessons from this experience will ensure better planning for future projects, avoiding disruptions and maintaining strong relationships with both domestic and international stakeholders.
