But the news of senior dialogue writer Nadiminti Narasingrao (72), who has worked as a lyricist for many Telugu films including these two films, has closed his eyes.
He was ill for the last few days and passed away on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital. We all know how Roosa, that is, one day movies have been a huge success. Especially the dialogues in that movie also got special attention. It was Narasinga Rao who wrote all those wonderful dialogues.
A few days ago Narasinga Rao fell seriously ill and his family members admitted him to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda, Hyderabad. He went into a coma a week ago due to his deteriorating condition and breathed his last today. This casts a shadow of sadness on the Telugu film industry. Narasingarao has a wife and a daughter. He also worked as a lyricist for movies like Pata Basti, Uriki Monagadu, Kuchhikuchchi Koonamma.
Before entering films, he gained good recognition with the play ‘Bommalata’ and also wrote the Tenali Ramakrishna serial which once enthralled the Doordarshan audience. Also, he has given words to serials like “Wonder Boy”, “Lady Detective”, “Antarangalu” which are recognized as famous serials on this TV.
