Tovino Thomas’ latest political action drama, Narivetta, originally released in Malayalam on May 23, 2025, has been receiving strong critical acclaim and positive audience feedback. Directed by Anuraj Manohar and written by Abin Joseph, the film is inspired by the 2003 Muthanga tribal protest, one of the most intense and emotional movements in Kerala’s socio-political history.
The Telugu-dubbed version, titled Narivetta – Thodelu Veta, was initially scheduled for release on the same day, May 23, and was being distributed by Mythri Movie Distribution LLP. However, the sudden and unexplained delay in its release left Telugu fans puzzled and disappointed.
Now, putting all speculation to rest, the makers have officially announced the new release date for the Telugu version — May 30, 2025. Alongside the announcement, the team also unveiled the Telugu trailer, which highlights Tovino’s powerful performance and the film’s emotionally charged narrative.
With expectations reignited, all eyes are now on Narivetta – Thodelu Veta as it prepares to hit Telugu screens.
