The highly anticipated neo-noir action drama, Bhairavam, is poised to make a significant impact on the big screens, with its theatrical release slated for May 30, 2025. Helmed by the acclaimed director Vijay Kanakamedala, known for his distinctive storytelling in Naandhi, the film has already generated considerable buzz, not only for its intriguing premise but also for securing a major post-theatrical distribution deal.
Even before its grand cinematic premiere, Bhairavam’s digital and satellite rights have been acquired by Zee (formerly ZEE) for a respectable sum, reportedly amounting to ₹32 crore. This lucrative deal ensures that following its theatrical run, the film will be available for streaming on Zee5, offering audiences convenient access. Subsequently, it will also be telecast on Zee Telugu, bringing the gripping narrative to a wider television audience.
The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast, featuring a compelling trio of actors making their comeback: Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohith in pivotal lead roles. Adding to the depth of the cast are talented artists such as Aditi Shankar, Anandhi, Divya Pillai, Jayasudha, and Ajay, all contributing to the film’s intense drama. Aditi Shankar also plays one of the female leads, further enhancing the film’s star power.
Backed by the seasoned producer K.K. Radhamohan under the prestigious Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, and presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, Bhairavam promises high production values. The film’s atmosphere is further intensified by the evocative music composed by Sri Charan Pakala.
