Kollywood star hero Vijay’s The Goat is performing exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu and international markets. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this action drama stars Vijay in dual roles as father and son. The film collected more than 280 crore rupees at the worldwide box office in four days. But the performance in Telugu is disappointing. The director recently took to the Twitter space where he made an interesting comment.
Venkat Prabhu felt that the scenes highlighting CSK did not go down well with Telugu and Hindi audiences. This is attributed to the underperformance of GOAT in Telugu states and the Hindi belt. The comment is now getting mixed reactions from netizens. AGS Entertainment has bankrolled this big budget film. The film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha Prabhudeva, Jayaram, Prashanth, Mohan and others in pivotal roles. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has Trisha in a cameo role in the film.
