Ticket Prices: The Andhra Pradesh government has given permission to increase the ticket prices of the films Game Changer and Daku Maharaj, which are releasing on the occasion of Sankranti festival. With this increase, it is favorable for the makers to expect huge collections for the films.
Telangana government yet to decide on ticket prices
The Andhra Pradesh government is supporting the film industry and is offering an opportunity to increase ticket prices for big movies. Game Changer pre-release event (Pre-release Event) was held in Andhra Pradesh, Daku Maharaj pre-release event is being arranged in Anantapur. Talking about the hike in ticket prices, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said at the game changer event that the government will add 18% in the form of GST. Pawan Kalyan believes that the level of Telugu cinema has increased, and in order to make films at the international level, the investment should be returned.
However, it seems that the government, which has allowed this increase for 14 days, will make some changes as per the instructions of the High Court. Currently, it is reported that the government may take a decision to revise the JIO and increase the ticket prices only for 10 days. This news is currently going viral on social media. However, it is estimated that 10 days will be enough time to sell the tickets of big movies and the makers will not face any problem.
And in Telangana, the Congress government has not yet taken a decision on ticket prices for Sankranti movies. The official announcement is likely to come out today. Famous producer Dil Raju is also ready to discuss the increase in ticket prices with Revanth Reddy. We have to wait and see what kind of announcement comes from the government.
