Sharjah Airport has introduced several new services to make travellers’ journeys more convenient. Self-service options, such as baggage drop, passport control, and boarding gate access, are now available for passengers, simplifying their airport experience.
Self-Service Check-In
Passengers at Sharjah Airport can use self-service check-in kiosks. Travellers can visit these kiosks to check in and either scan their passport or enter their PNR (passenger name record) after authorising their details. Once approved, passengers receive their boarding passes and bag tags.
Bag Tag Printing
With the self-check-in kiosk, passengers can print their bag tags. If they have completed online check-in, they can proceed to the ‘Tag and Fly’ kiosk and then to the self-baggage drop-off counter.

Smart Passport Control
Smart gates are used for passport control at Sharjah International Airport. Travellers need to place their passport photo page on the e-reader, then scan their barcode at the e-gate.
