Rachin Ravindra was born after his family moved to New Zealand, and he developed a deep passion for cricket from a young age. He represented New Zealand in the Under-19 World Cup in both 2016 and 2018.

In September 2021, Rachin Ravindra made his international cricket debut in a T20 match against Bangladesh. Additionally, Rachin’s father, Ravi Krishnamurthy, founded a cricket club called Hot Hawks, where Rachin honed his skills. Rachin Ravindra’s connection with India is also noteworthy, as he played cricket in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, and formed strong ties with the country.
