In a recent organizational meeting, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal introduced Kaling Moyong as the new Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president for Arunachal Pradesh. Sonowal expressed confidence in Moyong’s leadership, stating that his dedication and hard work would play a vital role in strengthening the party in the state. He also emphasized that under the leadership of BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Moyong would be pivotal in expanding the party’s reach and influence.
Key Appointments and Party Mission
Sonowal also appointed Yalem Taga Burang, Tagin Siga, and Kamrang Tesiya as Arunachal Pradesh’s representatives to the BJP National Council. He highlighted their responsibility to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a self-reliant and prosperous India. The meeting was attended by prominent figures such as Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, and BJP state in-charge Ashok Singhal.
Reflection on Arunachal’s Growth and BJP’s Dedication
In his address, Sonowal reflected on the immense progress made in Arunachal Pradesh and the Northeast over the past decade. He attributed this to the BJP’s strong leadership and focused on the development in infrastructure and connectivity, which has brought the region closer to Delhi. “In the last 10 years, Arunachal and the Northeast have seen unprecedented growth,” he said.
Sonowal also praised the BJP for its commitment to inclusive development, prosperity, and equality for all. “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the BJP-led NDA government has delivered transformative governance, building a strong and thriving India,” he added.
A Historic Investment in the Northeast
Sonowal went on to highlight the government’s investments in the Northeast, stating that Rs 5 lakh crore had been committed to the region in the last decade. He urged BJP workers to strengthen the party’s organizational efforts in Arunachal Pradesh and contribute to furthering the development goals of the region.
Concluding his speech, Sonowal reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to its “Nation First” philosophy. “Our party is dedicated to building a self-reliant and prosperous India, and together we must align with Prime Minister Modi’s vision to make India one of the top three economies in the world,” he said.
