The Oscar Committee has released the Oscar 2025 short list. Many super hit movies got a place in this list while some other movies got a shock by missing a place in this list. But unexpectedly, a small film made it to the Oscar short list. That’s Santosh. The Shahana Goswami starrer has made an official entry in the Oscar shortlist. Shahana Go Swamy has acted in many Hollywood films as well as Bollywood films. Last year, Shabana acted in the lead role in the Hindi film Santosh. The film was shortlisted for Best International Feature Film from the UK. The film is directed by Sandhya Suri.

Shahana Goswami said, ‘I am very happy to get a place in the Oscar short list. I am very happy that Santosh’s movie, which is made with a good story, is now being recognized all over the world. I was shocked when I was told that our film got a place in the Oscar list. We did not expect that our film will go to Oscar’, he said. Netizens have commented that Santhosh’s place in the Oscar shortlist is somewhat surprising for Lapata Ladies, who have made many expectations.
