Review : Simba – Concept is good but content is regular !

Anasuya, Jagapathi Babu, Kasturi, Devi, Srinath and Kabir Singh are the main characters in the movie ‘Simmba’. New director Murali Manohar Reddy directed this Simmba movie in the joint production of Sampath Nandi and Rajender. The film has hit the screens today. Story:

Aksha(Anasuya) is a best teacher. Peaceful nature that does not harm even a cockroach in the house. On the other hand, since her husband lost his legs in an accident, she runs the house and takes care of the family very lovingly. But, one day when she saw a man on the road, something changed in Anasuya’s eyes. Due to the sudden change in her, she follows the man and kills him in the worst way. Police officer Anurag (Vashishtha Simha) and journalist Fazil (Srinath) investigate this case. In the background of some dramatic developments in this sequence, Fazil (Srinath) also joins Aksha in killing another person. The same change happens in him suddenly. After that the same change happens in Dr. Irani (Anish Kuruvilla) along with these two.. These three together kill another person. What is the real change in these three people?, Why are they killing other people without their knowledge?, What is the relationship between these three – environmentalist Purushottam Reddy (Jagapathi Babu)? Is the rest of the story?

With the new concept of cellular memory and biological memory, this Simba movie with a wild revenge story play has a good message about the environment that saplings should be planted. The way interest is maintained in the story is also good. Why are people who are good people suddenly killing in the worst way? The aspect is interestingly established.

Anasuya is impressive in the pivotal role. As a good teacher and wild in many action scenes, she impressed with her performance. Jagapathi Babu in a new role as an environment lover. The Jagapathi Babu episode is the highlight of the movie. And Vasishtha Simha is set perfectly in the role of a serious police officer. Srinath, who appeared in another key role, also acted well.

The heroine Divi is impressive. The way Anish has designed Kuruvilla’s character is good. Gauthami and Kasthuri and the rest of the actors also acted well in their role. Similarly, director Murali Manohar Reddy impressed with his first film. Especially the climax and the Jagapathi Babu track, and the way the message is dealt with is a testament to Murali Manohar Reddy’s directorial talent.

Minus Points:

Although the new concept of biological memory in the film is good.. and there is a good message about the environment.. many scenes move very slowly. Moreover, filling the film with regular revenge story treatment does not feel completely satisfactory. It would have been a plus for the movie if many episodes in the first half had been shortened without stretching.

Also, Simba’s second half flashback episode also seems stretched. Moreover, some of the scenes in this flashback are silly and logicless. The matter told about the environment and plants is very good, but the way it is shown and told is not good. There is something classy about it. On the whole, the movie would have been much better if some routine scenes had been removed from this emotional revenge drama.

Technical Department:

Although the concept and message of the movie is very good, the story does not have an interesting plot. And the songs composed by music director Krishna Saurabh are no problem. When it comes to cinematography.. the locations are impressive with all the natural visuals. Editing is also good. The production values ​​followed by the producers of this film Sampath Nandi and Rajender Samyukta are very good.

Verdict:

In this emotional revenge drama called ‘Simba’, there is a new concept of biological memory along with a good message related to the environment. Also, some action and emotional scenes are also good. The production values ​​have also raised the bar of the film. However, missing interesting elements in the first half and some logic-less and silly scenes are the minus points of the movie. Overall, only concept and message connect in this movie.
