Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja’s new movie Mr. Bachchan. This movie directed by Harish Shankar premiered today. And let’s go to the review and find out how much this movie pleased!
Story:
Income Tax Officer Mr. Bachchan (Ravi Teja) is honest. Anti corruption. After a raid on a corrupt tobacconist, angry superiors suspend Mr. Bachchan from duty. After that Mr. Bachchan will come to his hometown Kotipalli. There he sees Zikki (Bhagya Sri) and falls in love. What did Bachchan do for her love?, How did Zikki fall in love with Bachchan?, How did they find out about their love at home?, How did the elders agree to marry? The story takes a turn as it has to be done at home. How did Bachchan raid the house of Mutyam Jaggaiah, who scared even the authorities?, what were the conditions he faced there?, what did Mr. Bachchan finally achieve? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Ravi Teja looks very powerful as Mr. Bachchan. Ravi Teja impresses with his comedic timing as well as stylish action elements and strong emotions. Ravi Teja’s acting style is impressive, showing variations to suit his character’s circumstances. Moreover, Ravi Teja impressed with his body language, in some action and emotional sequences and with his looks. Bhagyashree Borse entertained with her glamor as the heroine. Bhagyashree Borse’s looks and steps especially in the songs are a plus for the movie.
As the villain, Jagapathi Babu has fully nailed his role. Comedian Satya made us laugh with his comedy. In the first half, Satya’s scenes were almost a workout. Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, Gautami and Praveen, who played other key roles, were convincing in their roles. Also, the rest of the actors have also acted well in the scope of their roles. Harish Shankar’s commercial elements are also good along with the way he showed that if an income tax officer works with honesty.. the system will do a lot of good.
Minus Points:
Harish Shankar, who designed the character of Mr. Bachchan and the scenes for that character, did not write the same level of treatment in this film. He failed to write an interesting story especially in the second half. Some scenes feel slow and regular. It would have been better if the mind game between the hero and the villain had been built more interestingly.
Except in the climax, the rest of the story lacks curiosity. Although the story could have been made more interesting, the director ended the film in his own style. Although Harish Shankar’s dialogues, hero characterization and BGM are good, the movie feels average. The movie would have been better if the villain character had been written more strongly along with the second half screenplay.
Technical Department:
Although the director Harish Shankar was impressed with his take, he could not write the screenplay in a fully impressive way for the story line taken. The background score in the movie is good. Music director Mickey J Mayer’s songs are okay. Cinematography is also good. Most of the scenes in the movie have been shot very beautifully. When it comes to editing, the editor Ujwal Kulkarni had to reduce some of the stretched scenes here and there. Producers TG Vishwaprasad, Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar and Abhishek Pathak made this film without any compromise. Their production values are very good.
Verdict:
In this film called ‘Mr Bachchan’ as a stylish action entertainer.. Ravi Teja’s acting and his characterization and action scenes as well as mass elevations and emotions are very good. However, the screenplay is slow, there are more lag scenes in the movie, especially the second half is not completely impressive. Overall only a few commercial elements connect in this film.
