Review: “Double Smart” – Routine Commercial Action Drama !

First of all, when it comes to the performances of the actors, it must be said that Ram once again impressed with his mass presence. This time also he showed his swag just like the last Smart Shankar in his looks with a perfect Telangana accent. He also showed a variation in himself in another shade.

And the heroine Kavya Thapar is also fit in her role. Some scenes with Ram are good. Also his glamor show is also liked by the mass audience. Also, the fights were also done well. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt appeared as a stylish don in his role. Also, the climax twist in the movie has some mass moments that are good.

Everyone knows what kind of impact Smart Shankar has set in the mass audience.. So the audience will go with minimal expectations for the sequel, but it must be said that this film is not at the level to reach them. This time Puri Jagannath tried something but his work disappoints.

Forced emotions unimpressive story makes the movie bland. There is nothing much to say about the original movie if some scenes are missing. If the first half seems to be in an okay range, the second half will continue in the same way. Mainly Puri mark mass scenes but punchy dialogues are not in the movie. Those expecting these will be more disappointed.

Sanjay Dutt’s role is still a big disappointment. His role in the film seems very unnatural. For his personality, what he does is not as interesting as acting. Also there is not much logic in the movie.. Also a Puri Aoli comedy track has some expectations but in this movie the track does not even bring much laughter. The production values ​​of Charmi and Puri Jagannath are good in this movie. The set-up of the film and the desired setting works are good. Also, it can be said that Mani Sharma’s work in the technical team is just okay. Some scenes score is good but some scenes are missing. The visuals given by Raj Thota are good. Junaid’s editing work should be better. Audio sync is also missing in some scenes.

When it comes to the director Puri Jagannath, it must be said that he has given a dull work to this movie. His marked scenes and dialogues were badly missed. The story is not very interesting. It can be said that the efforts put into Part 1 are much better in all categories.

If you look at it as a whole… this film which is a sequel to the mass hit Smart Shankar, if you think it will give double entertainment, then it can be said that even the saga could not be reached in it. Ram played his role well. Kavya also looked good but Puri’s work was not in the range of expectations. If you watch part 1 and have high expectations, you will definitely be disappointed. No matter how low expectations you watch, this is not a Puri movie, but its fans get the feeling that it is. With these, the movie remains below average.
