Story:
Karthik (Chetan Krishna) is in love with his father (Sai Kumar). Only his son hopes to be number one. Karthik also has the same love as his father. Suhana (Hebba Patel) enters Karthik’s life in this sequence. What is the drama in Karthik’s life in the background of some dramatic developments?, What is the mistake Karthik made for his father?, Also what is the mistake made by Karthik’s father (Sai Kumar) for his son?, How do these mistakes affect Suhana (Hebba Patel) family? Linked?, what kind of turn did this story take in the end? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
The comedy scenes, love scenes and wedding sequences in the drama are good due to the intense love between the father and son for each other. Along with entertainment, some emotional elements are also impressive in the movie. Chetan Krishna who played the hero in this movie acted well with his acting and his body language. Sai Kumar who played another key role in the movie also did full justice to his role.
Heroine Hebba Patel entertains with her glamour. Goparaju Ramana, who played the heroine’s grandfather, acted very well. His mannerisms are good. Vennela Kishore, who appeared in a key role in the second half, gave a lot of laughs. The timing of the punches and comedy between the lead characters – Vennela Kishore is also entertaining. Shivannarayana, Banerjee, Sai Srinivas and Praveen also did justice to their roles.
Also, Naveen Neni, Giridhar and Bhadram who appeared in other roles also acted well. And the rest of the cast also do well within their scope. And the hero’s role in this movie.. the love track related to that character.. as well as the family scenes associated with that track.. and the rest of the characters added in the wedding.. All in all, some comedy elements in this movie are pleasing.
Minus Points:
Although the main point of the film has matter. When a concept like this was taken, it would have been better if the movie had been full of fun and exciting throughout the movie. But, the interesting fun elements in the second half.. were missing in the first half. The first half was not up to the expected level and it was a minus for the movie.
Laying silly tracks to build conflict between the families of the heroines is also not good. Some of the scenes in this sequence go poorly. Also logics are nowhere to be found. Also, the love track between the hero heroines also lacks the right strength. Actually, full comedy can be maintained in this story. The second half was really fun at some places. Even the director could not continue that fun throughout the film.
Technical Department:
Technically, the work of the technical department in the movie is good. Especially Gopi Sundar’s music is a plus for the movie. Similarly, Siddharth Ramaswamy’s cinematography work is also the highlight of the movie. Editing by editor Amar Reddy Kudumula is suitable for the movie. And the production values followed by the producer MS Ram Kumar in this movie are very good. Sai Kishore Macha’s direction is good, but the script is not completely impressive.
Verdict:
Titled ‘Dhoom Dham’, the main concept, second half comedy track and fun elements added in the wedding are good. However, factors such as regular screenplay, weak main characterizations and the lack of expected first half hurt the result of the movie. Overall, this movie will only appeal to the audience who want fun elements.
