Game Changer First Review Torture Boring

Ram Charan’s political thriller Game Changer faced a significant decline at the box office after a strong opening week of Rs 117.65 crore. Despite the star power and extensive promotional campaigns, the film has struggled to maintain its momentum. In its second week, it added only Rs 11.15 crore, a sharp drop from its opening numbers. The third weekend saw even lower collections, with just Rs 30 lakh on Friday and Rs 24 lakh on Saturday, pointing to waning audience interest.

The film’s performance in international markets has been similarly underwhelming, especially in North America, where it has earned just USD 2,088,753—well below its breakeven target of USD 4.5 million. This mirrors its domestic box office struggles, as the movie faces stiff competition from other Telugu films like Daaku Maharaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunam.

Several factors have contributed to Game Changer’s disappointing performance. Mixed reviews from critics and audiences have cited weak screenplay and pacing issues as key drawbacks. While Ram Charan’s fan base and the success of his previous film RRR generated high expectations, the movie has fallen short of delivering on them.

Looking ahead, Ram Charan’s next project, RC 16, directed by Buchi Babu and starring Janhvi Kapoor, is highly anticipated as his next major film venture.
