Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Game Changer is all set to hit theaters globally on January 10 as a festive treat for Sankranti. Directed by legendary filmmaker Shankar, the film will release not only in Telugu but also in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, making it a pan-India offering. To ensure widespread excitement, the makers have been actively promoting the movie over the past few months with events across the globe.

The Game Changer team organized a pre-release event in the United States, followed by grand celebrations in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Adding to the buzz, Ram Charan appeared on Balakrishna’s popular talk show Unstoppable with NBK. A promo from this episode, showcasing Charan sharing insights about his personal life and career, has already garnered significant attention. Mega fans are eagerly awaiting the full episode, which will stream on the OTT platform Aha starting January 8.

During the show, Balakrishna surprised Charan by playing a video of his first-ever stage speech, delivered at Chiranjeevi’s 2004 birthday celebration organized by fans. Balakrishna also quizzed Charan about his decision to take up certain films, prompting Charan to reflect on his Bollywood debut Zanjeer. He candidly admitted, “I don’t know why I did that movie.”

A Look Back at Zanjeer

Zanjeer, directed by Bollywood’s Apoorva Lakhia and starring Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra, was the remake of the iconic 1973 film of the same name. While the Telugu version, titled Toofan, was released amid high expectations, it failed to perform at the box office, marking a rare misstep in Charan’s otherwise successful career.

Despite past setbacks, Game Changer promises to captivate audiences with its engaging storyline, stellar cast, and Shankar’s visionary direction. With Ram Charan riding high on his global recognition post-RRR, the excitement surrounding the film has reached its peak. Fans are optimistic that Game Changer will deliver on its promises and set new benchmarks during the Sankranti season.
